TED magazine from Canada.
A new great review of the HD10 comes from Canada in the July issue of TED magazine. "A big hart in a small body!" says reviewer Michel Dallaire before he concludes: "The musicality of the the HD10 was shining and gave me great satisfaction and pleasure. This is another device that I can recommend without hesitation". You can download the complete reveiw from the link on the left.

STEREOMOJO - Specific recommendation.
US magazine awarded the HD10 a Specific recommendation in June. We quote: "Personally, I think the Hegel smokes the Benchmark in terms of sheer musicality and listenability" - by James L. Darby and Dr. John Richardson. You can download the entire review on the left.

Product of the Year in Sweden.
The HD10 is awarded Product of the Year in Swedens leading magazine HiFi & Musik. This is a magazine that has reviewed all the important DAC's on the market, so the award hangs high. We quote from the December issue: "With both USB, optical and coaxial inputs, this Norwegian DAC can handle the most, and it does so with chockingly good sound quality. It will upgrade almost any item with a digital output."

Norwegian magazine Lyd & Bilde and it's Swedish sister Ljud & Bild Hemma has reviewed the HD10 in their December issue. The HD10 was awarded a "Special Recommendation" and received a full 6 stars on sound quality.

"I can't remember to ever have heard such good sound from a separate D/A-Converter before. At least not in this price range - and I still remember the sound from the Stello and Benchmark"

"We can only confirm that high end sound from a laptop is actually possible, because this sound is fully comparable to that of a really high end CD-player."
(Geir Nordby - Lyd & Bilde 12/09)

HiFi & Musik about the HD10 DAC:

Pros:
very good sound, fair price, USB-bonus, balanced outputs

Cons:
what do you mean cons?

Verdict:
A humble looking box that will do wonders to almost any digital unit in you house

"... No, this DAC sounds ridiculously good and the final proof would of course be to compare it to the Benchmark DAC-1 USB. I know that many have found this to be somewhat harsh and clinical, but I have never agreed to this.
Until now, when I for less money get a larger soundstage, more power and more consistency. The soundstage just feels more complete. But at the same time as you get more details, it still sounds softer and is much more pleasant to listen to."
