HEGEL
CD-Player Technology.
General Design details of Hegel
CD-players.
Hegel CD-players are using a
high performance low noise
voltage reference system to
clean up the analog audio signal
between the SyncroDAC™ converter and the
Linear Phase LineDriver™.
Hegel CD-players are using many
individual voltage regulators to
make sure all parts of the
SyncroDAC™ converter
board and the MasterClock™
generator have a cleanest
possible power supply.
All Hegel CD-players are using a
transformer balanced digital
output for a best possible
digital audio output with low noise and low
jitter.
All Hegel CD-players are using
an internal high performance AC
mains input filter to prevent
the noise
from the high voltage AC disturbing the internal electronics.
All Hegel CD-players have true
balanced DAC boards, keeping the
audio signal balanced throughout
the CD-player for best possible
sound quality. Balanced signal cables can be
used for highest possible sound
quality. Hegel recommend to use
Balanced analog outputs when
connecting the analog audio
output signal from CD-player to
preamps and integrated
amplifiers.
